The Law Enforcement Center in St. Cloud was locked down for a short period today (Saturday), after employees heard what they thought were gunshots. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened just after 4:30 p.m.
Kimball Area Public Schools were placed on a brief lockdown this morning (Thursday). Kimball Superintendent Jim Wagner says they received a call from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office just after 10:00 a.m. that police were looking for person with a gun in the area.
Police are looking for three men reportedly involved in a home invasion in St. Stephen this (Monday) morning. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the incident began at about 9:45 a.m. The homeowner says he heard a knock on the door, and was met by three men. He was then punched and tied up.

A child playing with a lighter started a mobile home fire last (Thursday) night. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the call came in at about 10:30 p.m. in the Evergreen Mobile Home Park in Avon Township.
