The St. Cloud Rox downed the La Crosse Loggers 10-4 Tuesday night to improve to 7-1 in the 2nd half of the season. The Rox scored 2 runs in the 4th inning, 3 in the 5th inning and 5 runs in the 6th inning.
St. Cloud Rox left fielder Jordan Barth makes an appearance on "Hang Up and Listen". With Dave Overlund out this week I talked with Jordan. He is a Cold Spring native and Rocori graduate.
The Rox trailed early 1-0 but overcame the deficit with 1 run in the 4th inning, 3 in the 5th inning and 4 in the 6th inning. Jordan Barth went 2-5 with a home run, 2 runs scored and 4 RBIs to lead the Rox.
The St. Cloud Rox added 4 players to their 2019 roster. The four are include infielder Jordan Barth (Augustana University) and catchers Brendan Tinsman (Wake Forest University), Brett Bonar (University of Nebraska-Omaha) and Jack Kelly (Northwestern University).
This week's All-Star Student has been representing his country in the sport of Racquetball since he was eight years old. Now with 18 gold medals from National and International competitions this ROCORI High School Sophomore has become a veteran at the World Junior Games.
Jordan Barth is a St Cloud 11 year old who took first place at the Racquetball Junior World Championship in November of 2010 in Los Angeles. Chris Wolf of WJON's sister station, 98 Country, heard about Jordan and met up with him at the Suburban Health Club for a little one on one. How'd he fare?
