Dr. George Morris

CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON this week. He says they have seen a surge followed by another surge of Covid-19 patients at St. Cloud Hospital in the past few weeks. He says calling it a surge isn't meant to scare people but to accurately portray the situation they are dealing with.

CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today for an update on Covid-19 at St. Cloud Hospital and within CentraCare's hospitals. Dr. Morris says they are still experiencing a surge in Covid-19 cases both in St. Cloud Hospital and in the ICU. The amount of people with Covid-19 in the ICU still hasn't reached the levels of their peak in May.

CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says St. Cloud Hospital is seeing a slight increase in positive Covid-19 patients in the hospital and in their ICU. He says the ballpark numbers include more than 20 positive cases which is just up from the 10-20 cases they had in the hospital last week. He says they are seeing patients of a variety of ages.

He says St. Cloud Hospital has seen an increase in Covid-19 hospitalizations and an increase in the amount of people with Covid-19 in their ICU/Critical Care unit in the last week. Last week when we talked he said that the age of the people with Covid-19 at St. Cloud Hospital had been trending younger but this week he indicated that they are seeing a resurgence of older people now hospitalized.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says positive Covid-19 patients at the St. Cloud Hospital and patients in their critical care unit are about the same as last week. He says the treatments they are using now has really helped Covid-19 hospitalized patients and says a lot of credit goes out to the doctors and nurses.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says because of continued increased demand and lack of supplies Covid-19 test results continue to be slow. He says in some cases test results don't come back for as much as 2 weeks.

Healthcare officials are starting to get concerned as a spike in COVID-19 cases in some parts of the country are putting a strain on testing supplies.

He indicated that positive Covid-19 cases at St. Cloud Hospital are similar this week as they were the week before which includes some patients in the hospital and some in the ICU/Critical Care area. Dr. Morris says because of more cases throughout the country that has affected the availability of tests and how long it takes for test results to return.

He indicated that St. Cloud Hospital is seeing a slight increase in positive Covid-19 patients that need hospitalization and they now have Covid-19 patients in the ICU. Last week Dr. Morris told me that as of Wednesday last week they had no Covid-19 patients in the ICU but that has changed this week.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says as of Wednesday they do not have a Covid-19 patient in the ICU at St. Cloud Hospital. He said they still have some positive Covid-19 patients in St. Cloud hospital at this time but none in the ICU.
