Counterfeit Bills

Tri-County Crimestoppers is reporting counterfeit bills being passed around the St. Cloud area. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers joined me on WJON. She says they are seeing counterfeit $100 bills.

A St. Cloud man with a lengthy criminal history has been charged with seven different crimes of theft dating back to June of 2020.

Three people are jailed after a dispute over property turned into a domestic disturbance and drug bust.

Trying to figure out if a bill is a counterfeit or authentic can be challenging but the St. Cloud Police Department says it only takes seconds to find out.

Businesses in Cold Spring have fallen victim to counterfeit bills in the last few weeks.
