Covid-19 positive cases at CentraCare and within St. Cloud hospital are on the rise from the week before. That according to CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris. Morris appeared on WJON with me today. He says they have 35+ positive Covid-19 patients at St. Cloud Hospital with a third of them in the ICU/Critical care unit. He says these numbers are alarming and remind him of the increase they saw last fall.

Covid-19 numbers are up within CentraCare and at St. Cloud Hospital this week. That according to CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris. Morris joined me on WJON this week. He says as of Wednesday they have approximately 30 positive Covid-19 patients within CentraCare facilities and 7 people in the ICU/Critical Care unit.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris from CentraCare joined me on WJON today. He says CentreCare is receiving 3,000 to 4,000 vaccines from the state each week and anticipates that number a week through the end of the month with an increase expected starting in April.

The magazine rated CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital as number 45 in the nation and number two in Minnesota.

CentraCare and Carris Health are now offering the COVID-19 vaccine to anyone who is eligible.

It’s Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and CentraCare is offering free take-home colon screening kits for people 50 and older all month long.

Despite the updated vaccination rollout plan, local health officials say there is still some hesitation to get vaccinated among some racial groups.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says they have less than 20 people with Covid-19 at St. Cloud Hospital and within CentraCare facilities in the region. He says they only have a few Covid-19 patients in the critical care/ICU.

State and local health officials are expanding their reach when it comes to administering the COVID-19 vaccine.

He says is takes a long time for those who become very sick to recover if they are able to do so.
