NORTHFIELD -- St. Benedict's come back falls short this afternoon (Saturday) on the hardwood against St. Olaf 62-68.

The team fell behind early as St. Olaf took a 37-23 lead going into halftime.

Blazers Mattie Lueck led the team in scoring with 22 points while shooting 8-12 from the field. Morgan Dale pulled in 15 rebounds and 6 points as well.

St. Olaf's Kim Cerjan put up 24 points in the victory on 9-18 shooting.

The Blazers shot 42 percent from the field but struggled from the free throw line only shooting 54 percent as opposed to St. Olaf's 71 percent.

St. Benedict falls to 10-9 on the season and 7-9 in the MIAC. They will take on Augsburg at home on Monday. Game set for 7:30 p.m.
