Spicer’s Melvin’s Restaurant Bought By Zorbaz

SPICER -- A popular landmark restaurant on Spicer's Green Lake has been sold.

Melvin's on the Lake has been bought by the owners of the Zorbaz restaurant chain.

The lakeside bar and restaurant will operate as Melvin's for one final summer, and then will be turned over to Zorbaz on October 1st.

Zorbaz owns and operates nine restaurants in northern Minnesota.  It's flagship is in Detroit Lakes, where the chain was founded in 1969.
