Small Business Saturday Promotes Local Shops

UNDATED - We don't need to tell you that this is easily the biggest shopping weekend of the year.

With this in mind, the Better Business Bureau is urging you to support independent stores in your city by taking part in Small Business Saturday tomorrow.

Founded by American Express, Small Business Saturday promotes independent businesses and provides incentives to those who shop at them using American Express cards.

They also offer free marketing tools - including free Facebook ads - to assist small business owners in advance of the day.

This is the second annual Small Business Saturday. Currently, the promotion has over 2 million Facebook fans.
