Skid Loader Destroyed By Fire Near Lake Henry

LAKE HENRY - A skid loader started on fire Monday night near Lake Henry. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it started at about 7:40 p.m. on 220th Street in Lake Henry Township, about a half-mile west of Lake Henry.

A passerby called in a report of a skid loader fully engulfed in flames.

The owner, 56-year-old Karl Schlangen, says he normally stores the skid loader in the shed and believes the rain caused an electrical issue.

No buildings were damaged.

No one was hurt.
