CLEAR LAKE -- Sherburne County has a few road construction projects which will impact motorists in the northwestern corner of the county this summer.

The largest project in the area will be a six-mile stretch of Sherburne County Road 8 from County Road 16 to Highway 24. County Public Works Director Andrew Witter says they'll be doing a resurfacing project in that area.

Traffic will be managed by flaggers but, one short detour is expected for a culvert replacement. The $1,500,000 project will be completed between July 10th and September 15th.

A three-and-a-half mile repaving of County Road 6 northeast of Clear Lake will also be completed during that time.

Just over four miles of County Road 3 will be replaced east of Highway 10 this summer as well.
