Semi Driver Killed in I-94 Crash in Sauk Centre

SAUK CENTRE -- A Brooklyn Center man was killed in a crash Saturday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Interstate 94 in Sauk Centre.

Sixty-one-year-old James Peifer was driving west on I-94, in his semi, when he went off the road and struck some trees.

Peifer died at the scene.
