SCSU Student To Perform For American Idol In Hollywood

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud State University Student, Beau Lastavich received his "Golden Ticket" to Hollywood during American Idol's Chicago audition round which aired at the beginning of January.

You may catch a glimpse of him tonight (Wednesday) during the "Hollywood" audition around.

The American Idol search took place in seven cities with thousands of people from across the country who showed up to audition.

The Big Lake native will be performing for celebrity judges; Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson.

If he moves on in the competition he will join 39 other contestants for a shot at competing in the live show.

American Idol Season 12 airs tonight (Wednesday) at 8/7c on Fox.
