SAUK RAPIDS -- Over 70 nativity sets from all over the world will be on display at a church in Sauk Rapids this weekend.

Trinity Lutheran Church is hosting their 2nd annual Festival of Nativities on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Project Chair Joanne Keck says a tree decorated with nativity ornaments has been added to this year’s display.

We did add a tree on a table with some nativity ornaments. People kind of were interested in that, so we did add that this year.

The event also features cookies, coffee, and live music performed by local musicians. Keck says this year’s music lineup includes a unique group.

On Saturday we are fortunate enough to have a group called Share Harp, so we'll have five or six harpists playing for an hour in the sanctuary.

There will also be a craft area and touchable nativities for kids. The event is free and open to the community.
