Sartell Places 2nd, Cathedral 5th in Class AA Finals

MINNEAPOLIS - It was a great weekend for several local dance teams during the State Girls Dance Team Tournament in Minneapolis.

Sartell placed second in the Class AA Finals, just a few points behind state champion Totino-Grace. The Sabres also took third place in the jazz/funk competition on Friday.

St. Cloud Cathedral placed fifth, while St. Cloud Tech finished sixth in the Class AAA high kick and precision. Tech also placed fifth in class AAA for the jazz/funk division on Friday.

Sauk Rapids, Albany, Cathedral and Tech also made all-state academic status in high kick.
