Rev Up The Fun: Ice Bumper Car Rides Now Available In Northern Minnesota!
I've tried traditional bumper cars, the 'zero-turn' style bumper cars and even bumper boats... but this is a new one for me!
While Minnesota is dotted with over 200 indoor ice arenas, the most per-capita in the United States of America, there's only one that features 'ice bumper cars,' and it is located in Virginia, Minnesota.
The Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia hosts ice bumper cars during the summer. They are one of just 27 locations in the entire world to offer the electric bumper cars to the public.
There are eight cars available and the 'Bump-N-Skate' is held from 9 a.m. to Noon every Sunday, but guests are asked to check the arena's website to ensure there are no conflicts with hockey on the dates you were hoping to play on.
It costs $10 to ride the bumper cars for 15 minutes. Kids have to be at least 42 inches tall and six years old to operate a vehicle, but kids three to five years old are able to ride with another driver. Seat belts are required and helmets are available.
The ice bumper cars are scheduled to be available on Sundays from August 11th through the end of the year.
