Not everyone will think the same.  Not everyone will want the same things, especially when it comes to politics.  People are very split with their ideas, policies that they want, and what party they will be voting with, and there is generally no changing their minds. BUT can we all come together and agree on some food?

There is something that Red Lobster has that almost everyone can agree on.  And that is the Cheddar Bay Biscuits.  They are just simply delicious!  So, as they are coming out of a bankruptcy situation, and the rest of us are coming into an election season, they wanted to capitalize on those situations.

Red Lobster announced this week that their "Cheddar Bay Biscuits are making a run for the oven office".  Get it, instead of the Oval Office.  Very clever.

From Food & Wine:

Sara Bittorf, the chief experience officer at Red Lobster, shared. “As election season heats up, there’s one thing we can all rally behind — a shared love for Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The truth is, Red Lobster food brings people together, and we’re excited to unite everyone, even if it’s just over lunch or dinner.”

They are also running a promotion where you could win Free Red Lobster for 4 Years!  Yes, throughout the entire presidency, you could enjoy free Red Lobster.  Of course, there are conditions.  Yes, they did learn something from the shrimp debacle.  The condition is this:

The “4 years of free Red Lobster” promotion is calculated as "$100 a month for 48 months and awarded as 48 $100 Red Lobster gift cards,"

The gift card idea is much safer than what happened with the endless shrimp deal.  Live and learn.  Anyway, I'm off to get some cheddar Bar Biscuits!
