INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers gave the Minnesota Timberwolves their first road loss of the season last (Friday) night 103-107.

Pacers Forward Paul George scored 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and guard Monta Ellis had his best game yet for Indiana with 24 points.

Indiana came into the game with the fourth-best defense in allowing 95.3 points per game.

The Wolves were without starting point guard Ricky Rubio, who missed his third straight game. Zach LaVine started in Rubio's place and finished with 26 points, 4 assists and 6 rebounds.

Guard Andrew Wiggins also chipped in 26 points and rookie Karl-Anthony Towns added 12 points and 9 rebounds.

The Timberwolves are now 4-5 in this early season and will look to capture their first home win tomorrow (Sunday) against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Tip off is set for 2:30 p.m. at Target Center.
