MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The federal judge who stopped the NFL lockout will take at least another day to consider whether she should put her order on hold.

U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson has given the players until 9 a.m. Central time Wednesday to reply to the league's expedited motion for a stay. The stay would put Nelson's decision on hold pending further appeals.

Nelson lifted the lockout on Monday, saying it causing "irreparable harm" to the players.

Some players returned to team facilities Tuesday morning.

Washington Redskins wide receiver Anthony Armstrong said the visit felt like he was "sneaking into the club" and "a little awkward."
