PLYMOUTH (AP) - A Minnesota woman is recovering after she was trapped in her overturned car on an icy pond.

Authorities say Nancy Breberg, of Centerville, was looking for a hotel in Plymouth when she veered off the road, crashed through a fence and became trapped in her vehicle on the pond.

An officer at the scene says the ice was breaking around the vehicle when she was found by a bicyclist Saturday, 18 hours after the crash. She was taken to a local hospital and later released.

Officials say the vehicle wasn't visible to passing motorists.
