Minnesota National Guard Launches Pink Tank Project [AUDIO]
ST. CLOUD -- Minnesota National Guard women are launching the Pink Tank project today (Tuesday) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The project aims to build breast cancer awareness and encourages women to conduct monthly self-breast exams.
Major Kristen Auge is the Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the Minnesota National Guard.
She says one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at sometime in their life.
Each week in October the Pink Tank project will feature a different video of a woman affect by breast cancer.
All of the women highlighted in the videos have ties to the National Guard.
Auge encourages you to join Pink Tank's Facebook page to receive monthly reminders to conduct your breast exam.
