Meet the 3 Chiropractors of Spinal Rehab Clinic

Spinal Rehab Clinic is a long-standing chiropractic clinic in Sauk Rapids that often incorporates massage therapy, acupuncture, and physical therapy into their wellness plans. Daniel T. Carlson D.C.

A Sauk Rapids native, Dr. Carlson learned of chiropractic care when a doctor at Spinal Rehab Clinic treated him after he was injured playing high school sports.

"I was able to see first-hand the incredible benefits of chiropractic care," Dr. Carlson said. "The more I researched this field, the more I could see the benefit and impact of chiropractic on patients' lives. I knew that I had found my calling."

After attending St. Cloud State University and then Northwestern College of Chiropractic, he returned to Sauk Rapids and has been practicing for more than 35 years. He and his wife, Joan, have two adult sons, and in his spare time, he enjoys golf, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Charles L. Thompson D.C.

Dr. Thompson is a sports enthusiast who has coached his oldest son's basketball and baseball teams, watched countless of his sons' hockey games, and support his daughter's dance pursuits. It gives him special insight into the athletes he treats at the clinic.

"I understand how the injured athlete feels and how disappointing it is to not partake in practices and games when you are injured," he said. "It is my goal to return the injured athlete to the playing field as soon as possible without risking further injury."

Like Dr. Carlson, he graduated from St. Cloud State University and Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1989. He has more than 20 years of experience in chiropractic care.

He and his wife, Stacy, live in Sartell, and he enjoys golfing and family vacations at the cabin.
