ST. CLOUD - A group of people, including St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis, are rolling up their sleeves on Thursday and picking up trash around the St. Cloud Public Library.

The call to action was made by Kleis, who, in his recent 'State of the City' address, stressed the importance of volunteers in keeping the city clean and beautiful.

Kleis says his office frequently get calls from people reporting garbage and other issues, and ask the city to fix the problem.

Mayor Kleis says they've got a few more clean-up projects scheduled for this week.  He says don't worry - even if you can't physically participate in community volunteer work, you can pitch in by spreading the word to rally friends and family members.
