MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Lynx and fans celebrate the team's WNBA championship in the Twin Cities Tuesday.

Lynx spokesman Aaron Seehusen says the team is expecting a big turnout for a parade and celebration in downtown Minneapolis. The Lynx swept the Atlanta Dream in three games, bringing Minnesota its first professional sports championship in 20 years. The Minnesota Twins won the World Series in 1991.

Gov. Mark Dayton hosts a breakfast for the team at his residence. The parade downtown starts at 11:30 with a celebration at the Target Center shortly after noon.

Seehusen says after a little down time the players will head overseas to play in the European leagues.
