Local Boys Basketball Teams Start the Season in Monticello

Monticello High School is the site for the beginning of the boys basketball season today.  The games begin at 2pm when Tech plays Chisago Lakes.  Hear the Tech/Chisago Lakes game on WJON.  Tech is expected to play 4 freshman and 1 sophomore in their regular rotation.

The rest of the schedule includes Apollo vs. Delano at 4pm, Rocori vs. Orono at 6pm and Sauk Rapids-Rice vs. Monticello at 8pm.  Apollo is led by junior 6'5 forward/center Ethan Novacincki.  Sauk Rapids plays young talent including freshman center Cody Landwehr.
