Land Swap For George Friedrich Park To Become Official

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud State University and the city of St. Cloud will officially close of the land swap for George Friedrich Park tomorrow (Friday).

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis and University President Earl Potter III will hold a signing ceremony in the park, located approximately at 1908 University Drive Southeast, at 2:00 p.m.

Last spring, the city and the Minnesota State Colleges and University System agreed to the land swap for three city owned pieces of land in exchange for the park.

The official grand opening of the park will be September 8th, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
