Johnnie Basketball Upsets Augsburg in MIAC Tourney

The St. John's basketball team won 47-45 in Minneapolis against Augsburg Wednesday night in the MIAC tournament quarterfinals. The Johnnies are seeded 5th while Augsburg is seeded 4th. Andy Burns made the buzzer beater to lift the Johnnies to the win. Burns finished with 14 points and Aaron Barmore had 10 points and 10 rebounds for St. John's.

St. John's is 16-10 overall and will play at 2nd seeded Gustavus at 7:30 Friday night. Bethel upset #3 seed St. Olaf 77-58 Wednesday night and will play at top seeded St. Thomas at 7:30 Friday night.
