It’s Coming to the St. Cloud Area June 6th
The WJON staff has been bouncing off the walls with excitement over the craziness that is coming to the St. Cloud area. Now, we are thrilled to invite you to come bounce with us at the Insane Inflatable 5K!
The Insane Inflatable 5K is the craziest event we’ve ever been a part of, and it has been re-imagined to be even more fun in 2015 with five brand new obstacles. It’s a unique 5K that incorporates 11 extreme inflatables that are unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
This 5K isn’t about the running, it’s about having fun. The 11 giant inflatable obstacles that make up the course combine imagination and creativity with a healthy dose of insanity. We’re still in awe after watching this video from their 2014 tour earlier today.
The Insane Inflatable 5K will be coming to Powder Ridge in Kimball on Saturday, June 6th. Jay Caldwell, Kelly Cordes and Dick Nelson are already taking bets on the ridiculousness that we are sure is going to take place throughout the race. We hope that you and your family and friends will join us for what is sure to be one of the most exciting events to ever hit the St. Cloud area.
See you there!
The 2015 course includes five brand new obstacle designs, alongside fan favorites from our 2014 tour. The course combines imagination, creativity, and most importantly a large dose of fun coupled with a touch of insanity. The signature inflatables range in size and complexity, including “Pure Misery,” a 100 foot long obstacle testing strength, agility, flexibility and endurance, “Jump Around,” the largest inflatable of its kind with more than 70 feet of bouncing, and “Bumpin’ Bumpin’,” a 25 foot high slide where participants climb to the top and slide down the obstacle that spans 75 feet in length, ending on an inflatable pad.
Beyond the obstacles and the race, the Insane Inflatable 5k will also have a “Midway” where participants can enjoy inflatables games, food, beverages, merchandise, and swag from local vendors and sponsors.
Registration fees, which include an event t-shirt and medal upon completion, range from $49 for advance registration to $75 for day-of-event registration. If you plan to take part, don't wait -- registration prices increase this Friday night, May 29th.
