Huskies Basketball Wins Home Opener

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud State Huskies Men's Basketball team beat the visiting Mayville State Comets 67-51.

The Huskies were led by Senior Jon Averkamp's 26 points and a swarming defense that caused 26 turnovers.

St. Cloud also got a breakout game from Junior transfer Sean Smith. Smith scored 19 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked 4 shots.
