Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Officer Tom Decker

COLD SPRING - In honor of Officer Tom Decker, Governor Mark Dayton has ordered all U.S. and Minnesota flags to be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings from sunrise until sunset tomorrow (Wednesday).

Governor Dayton is also planning on attending Decker's funeral service.  A celebration of Tom's life, with full police honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Abbey and University Church.

Thirty-one year old Decker was shot and killed while on duty late last Thursday night.
