FOLEY -- The Foley Police Department has received a report of theft of outgoing mail from home mailboxes.

Chief Katie McMillan would like to remind everyone to keep track of all outgoing mail. Also try to avoid putting mail in your mailbox for the post office to pickup, as criminals often look through mailboxes for money or checks.

The police say you should take all your outgoing mail to the Post Office.

The police ask if you spot any suspicious behavior, please report it by calling the Foley Police Department, 320-968-0800.
