Foley Looks For Candidates For Upcoming Elected City Positions

FOLEY -- Think you have what it takes to run a city?

The city of Foley is looking for candidates to put their hat in the ring for three upcoming elected positions.

Foley City Administrator Robert Barbian says they are looking for candidates for the Office of Mayor and two City Council positions.

The position of mayor is a two-year term and the council positions are four-year terms.

Barbian says candidates have until Tuesday to file for candidacy.

Once filed, your campaign can being.

Officials for the positions will be elected this November.

Current Mayor Gary Gruba and council members Dean Weber and Russ Hackett terms come to an end this year.
