ST. PAUL (AP) - An ex-adviser to Michele Bachmann's 2012 presidential bid is promoting a new book he says provides an insider's account of that campaign.

The description of Peter Waldron's book "Bachmannistan: Behind the Lines" says it sheds light on illegal and unethical behavior. Waldron was a national field coordinator during the Minnesota congresswoman's White House run. He has since accused other staffers of violating election laws.

Bachmann has decided against seeking a fifth congressional term. She has denied suggestions that an ongoing ethics probe contributed to her decision.

A message was left with a Bachmann attorney seeking comment on the book, which is being sold online.

Waldron's co-author, John Gilmore, is a St. Paul attorney who has represented another top Bachmann staffer during investigations into the presidential campaign's activities.
