Education Commissioner Hears District 742 Success Stories [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - District 742 students, parents and educators welcomed State Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius to St. Cloud today.

The program, made up of speeches by representatives from each area school, was held at the River's Edge Convention Center.

Dr. Cassellius listened as representatives from schools and community organizations shared stories of successful programs and community partnerships.

She says everything she heard from the speakers shows how committed St. Cloud is to strengthening its schools.

After the talk, Dr. Cassellius gave out her cell phone number to attendees and told them to call her anytime.

The talk is part of the commissioner's current tour of school districts around Minnesota.
