ST. CLOUD -- You can kick off the spring with live music, food and art downtown tonight (Friday) at the first art crawl of the year in downtown St. Cloud.

Every year, downtown St. Cloud holds four art crawls that show off the works of artists from St. Cloud and surrounding areas, as well as promoting local businesses in the heart of the city.

Jules Mische, owner of Jules' Bistro and co-counder of the art crawl, says they have about 40 venues for this year's spring event.

"We're just looking forward to getting people back downtown after a long winter," Mische says. "You can walk downtown, check out the businesses and see a huge variety of artists -- just something different to do on a Friday night."

"I just love the vibe, and I love the fact that people are coming downtown as a community," Mishe says. "I think it's a wonderful event for people to purchase [or] look at art, meet people, try great food, and hear great music."

The spring art crawl runs from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Three more art crawls are scheduled for 2016 in June, August and November.
