The Minnesota State High School League Board of Directors approved the placement of Detroit Lakes High School into the Central Lakes Conference effective for the 2024-2025 school year.
The warmer than normal winter hasn't been good for ice fishing, snowmobiling, outdoor contests and festivals but a silver lining can be animals in the state will come through the winter with good numbers. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON.

St. Cloud Cathedral is hosting the St. Cloud Crush tonight but this will be more than just any other game. It will be Cancer Awareness and youth basketball night. The two teams will be honoring former youth basketball coach and Cathedral parent, Jeff Voit.
The Twins Winter Caravan made its annual stop in St. Cloud Monday night before a packed crowd of nearly 400 people. Current Twins pitcher Louie Varland and outfielder Matt Wallner were on hand alongside former Twin LaTroy Hawkins, broadcaster Cory Provus, mascot TC Bear and team President Dave St. Peter.
