Four bright and talented students will compete to be Central Minnesota's "Youth of the Year."

The competition is sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota.

Marketing Manager Aimee Minnerath says the contestants have earned recognition and have been vital members of the Boys and Girls Club and role models for other kids while overcoming tough challenges.

Competitors include Fardowsa Iman, Andrew Guettler, Lee Nguyen and Kendyll Spells.

The competition takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at 9:30 a.m. at the Eastside Boys and Girls Club. It includes speeches by each student, as well as a roung of interviews with 5 judges.

The winner of the Youth of the Year competition in St. Cloud will go on to compete in the State competition later this spring.
