ST. CLOUD -- The American Red Cross is asking you to become an everyday hero during Red Cross Month.

For over 70 years members of the American Red Cross have been helping those in need and are asking for your help to serve others in your community.

March has been Red Cross Month since Franklin Roosevelt proclaimed it back in 1943. It's a time to not only recognized those who support the Red Cross, but make a difference yourself.

There are many ways you can help the Red Cross either by donating blood, volunteering, taking a class or being apart of the natural disaster team.

The St. Cloud Area Blood Donation Center is open Monday and Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays at 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

If you are interested in learning more about how to help the Red Cross you can contact them at 320-251-7641.
