A Family-Friendly Monster Truck Show Is Coming To Sauk Rapids In June

A Monster-X Monster Truck show is coming to Sauk Rapids' Granite City Motor Park for a trio of shows in June. Tickets for kids under eight are free with a paid adult, making it a fun night out for a family!

Monster-X trucks will race, perform wheelies and go for big air in a freestyle competition as part of the company's tour. Bear Foot, Lone Wolf, Boss Gator, Rampage and Carolina Crusher are all scheduled to be on hand for the event.

In addition to the monster trucks, attendees will be treated to a freestyle motocross demonstration and a jet car meltdown. What's a jet car meltdown? I'm glad you asked!

According to the event's Facebook post, a full-sized car will be melted down and burned. Five seconds ago I didn't know that was a thing and now I feel like I am missing out if I am not there.

Tickets include a free pre-show pit party and autograph session. Other pre-show activities include a bounce house, monster truck rides, fair food and other activities.

There are matinees scheduled for Saturday, June 8th (1:30 p.m.) and Sunday, June 9th (2 p.m.) and an evening show on Saturday, June 8th (7:30 p.m.). The pit party begins 90 minutes before each show and those who want to attend must have a ticket for the show itself.

Tickets $16.50 for adults and kids eight and under are free with paid adult (valid only on advance tickets). Ticket prices will go up on the day of the show. The Facebook page also notes the event is subject to a parking fee.
