The Vikings beat the Seattle Seahawks in a preseason game 20-7 in Seattle Saturday night.  Marcus Sherels returned a Tarvaris Jackson pass 64 yards for a touchdown for the Vikings in the first half and Minnesota led 13-0 at halftime.  Donavan McNabb played into the 2nd quarter and was 6-8 passing for 81 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions.  Adrian Peterson had 6 carries for 16 yards and rookie Kyle Rudolph led the team with 3 catches for 22 yards.

Christian Ponder was the 2nd quarterback to see action and he was 6-12 passing for just 63 yards.  Charlie Whitehurst for a 2nd straight game was the more effective quarterback than Tarvaris Jackson for Seattle.  Sidney Rice had 2 catches for 11 yards for the Seahawks.  Minnesota is 1-1 in preseason games and will host Dallas at 7pm Saturday August 27 at the Metrodome.
