Two People Hurt In Crash In North St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - Two people were hurt in a crash in North St. Cloud on Thursday afternoon.

St. Cloud Police responded to the crash at Highway 15 and 8th Street North at about 1:30 p.m.

42-year-old Yuan Li from Brainerd was traveling south on Highway 15 when he ran a red light at 8th Street North. A vehicle was making a left turn at the light when Li hit the vehicle on the passenger side.

The second vehicle was occupied by 30-year-old driver Bryan Gillitzer, 53-year-old Jennifer Gillitzer in the front seat and 33-year-old Luke Gillitzer in the back seat.

Jennifer and Luke Gillitzer were taken to the St. Cloud emergency room for injuries. Luke Gillitzer is listed in critical condition at St. Cloud Hospital.

Li was cited for semaphore violation at the scene and released.

A St. Cloud Metro Bus also took minor damage during a secondary collision after Li hit Gillitzer, nobody was hurt on the bus.
