Twins Win Exhibition Opener

The Twins won their exhibition opener in Fort Myers, Florida 8-4 over the Boston Red Sox Sunday night.  Joe Benson tripled in 3 and Tsuyoshi Nishioka added an RBI single for the Twins.  Non-roster invitee Jeff Bailey added a solo homerun for the Twins and Carl Pavano threw 2 shutout inning to begin the game.  Minnesota will play Boston again today at 12:05, pregame on WJON at noon.  Nick Blackburn is expected to start on the mound for the Twins.
