The Twins have promoted Tom Brunansky from triple-A hitting coach to major league hitting coach, have promoted Bobby Cuellar from triple-A pitching coach to major league bullpen coach and have hired former Twin Terry Steinbach as bullpen coach and catching instructor.  Brunansky was the starting rightfielder for the Twins during their 1987 World Series Championship team.

Terry Steinbach played 3 seasons for the Twins and is a New Ulm, Minnesota native.  He played 14 seasons in the major leagues and has helped out with the Twins at training camp.

The Twins have also reassigned Joe Vavra from hitting coach to 3rd base coach and infielder instructor and have reassigned Scott Ulger from bench coach to 1st base coach and outfielder instructor.  The Twins were 66-96 in 2012.
