Todd County Sheriff Warns Of Possible Phone Scam

BURLEENE TOWNSHIP -- A Burleene Township resident reported receiving a strange phone call Friday from someone claiming to be from the American Heart Association.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office says a woman was asking the resident to help collect donations by going door knocking.

Deputies say you should use caution when dealing with people over the phone.
