Timberwolves Lose to Clippers Without Love
The Timberwolves lost 95-82 at home against the L.A. Clippers Thursday night. The loss is the 8th in a row for Minnesota and drops their record to 25-35. Kevin Love did not play because of a mild concussion and neck strain. Love returned to Minnesota after spending the night at a Denver area hospital Wednesday night after being hit in the head by the elbow of Javele McGee of the Denver Nuggets.
Nikola Pekovic led the Wolves with 17 points and 6 rebounds Thursday night and Anthony Randolph added 16 points. Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 19 points. Minnesota has 6 games remaining this season and will host Oklahoma City Saturday night at 7, pregame on WJON at 6:30.
