Three St. Cloud Area Breweries Team-Up for Winter Clothing Drive
ST. CLOUD/ST. JOSEPH -- The three local breweries in the St. Cloud metro area are joining forces next week for one cause. The Warm Wishes campaign will be collecting winter clothes for area kids.
Pantown Brewing Company co-owner Marty Czech says they'll be hosting a special event on Tuesday, with Bad Habit Brewing holding their event on Wednesday, and Beaver Island Brewing Company doing theirs on Thursday.
You can drop off clothes at any one of these locations the entire week, but if you want to come to the bigger events, talk to the people from the charity the Warm Wishes initiative run by a group called Dreamfunders, they also adopt families over Christmas so you can talk to them about that, but I think we're all going to be getting together and having a party and collecting clothes. On any of these days, you bring in an item of clothing and your first beer is on us.
The three breweries will be accepting new and/or gently used kids coats, hats, gloves, socks, and underwear all week next week.
