Three Arrested in Litchfield Meth Bust

LITCHFIELD - Three people were arrested after a multi-month investigation into methamphetamine sales in Litchfield.

The CEE-VI Drug Task Force, Litchfield Police Department, and the Meeker County Sheriff's Office used search warrants in the 200 block of South Swift Avenue and in the 700 block of East 3rd Street.

Three people were arrested, 51-year-old Mark Hurd, 47-year-old Kelly Wise and 42-year-old Cherden Hartneck, all of Litchfield. Hurd and Wise are facing charges of 2nd degree controlled substance sales and illegal possession of guns. Hartneck is facing charges of 2nd degree controlled substance sales.

Authorities are continuing to look for suspects in the investigation.
