BECAUSE THE SINGLES THAT SURVIVED VALENTINES DAY WANT TO KNOW

So the day after, you're either wanting more than ever to find that special someone, or your just not interested at all. Either way, there's a new study (from Mashable) that has analyzed more than 100,000 reviews of different dating apps to find out the best ones for finding love.

It just so happens that the study  was equally succesful with the same results for people who just want to 'hook up.' So either way....these are the recommended choices for today.  But first, the ones you thought might make the top of the list, were actually at the bottom. The sites you thought would be the most successful? NOT!

THE BAD LIST

The sites that came in last place included:

  • eHarmony
  • Christian Mingle
  • Grindr

THE GOOD LIST

The top sites were sites I had never heard of:

  • Her
  • Fem
  • Happn
  • Scruff
  • OKcupid
  • Coffeemeets Bagel

FYI: If you DO pay for a site, be careful. If you try to shut it down, you better change your card information. They will automatically charge you and you'll be caught off guard. Make sure one you find your special someone, that you have REALLY shut off your profile AND requested to cancel your account. They don't make it easy. I thought mine was deleted, and come to find out, I was charge another $42 six months later. NOT COOL! They also will NOT refund your money. My suggestion: immediately after you've paid for your service, go back in and change your card information so that it CANNOT go through in case you have made an error in canceling the service.
