STILLWATER, Minn. (AP) - A Minnesota man who taught in a western Wisconsin high school is accused of sexually assaulting students.

Washington County Attorney Pete Orput said Thursday his office has charged 36-year-old Matthew Robert Koenen (KOH'-nen) of Stillwater with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Koenen was a teacher at a high school in Grantsburg, Wis., in 2012. The prosecutor says the alleged victims were students at the high school.

According to the complaint, Koenen developed a relationship with several female students in person, online and by text. That allegedly led to sexual conduct that happened in Stillwater.

Koenen is not in custody.
