Some walked for support, others for family, but no matter the reason they all walked towards one goal at the St. Cloud MS Walk this (Sunday) morning. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system. Walk MS is a fundraiser that connects people living with Multiple Sclerosis and helps raise money to find a cure.
The National MS Society is hosting their 25th Annual Walk MS Sunday at Apollo High School. Participants can choose to walk two, seven or nine miles. The National MS Society hopes to raise about $80,000 at the St. Cloud location.
Over 560 Central Minnesotans braved cold temps to take part in Sunday's MS Walk. The walk went from Apollo High into downtown and back, and raised nearly $86,000 to support research toward Multiple Sclerosis. Here's a gallery of highlights from the day.
