ST. CLOUD -- The National MS Society is hosting their 25th Annual Walk MS Sunday at Apollo High School.

Participants can choose to walk two, seven or nine miles. The National MS Society hopes to raise about $80,000 at the St. Cloud location.

Since 1988 Minnesota has raised over ten million dollars for Multiple Sclerosis, a disease that affects the central nervous system of the brain.

Walk Ambassador, Nicole Wadtke was seven years old when her mother was diagnosed with MS. She says her mother has been fortunate but has trouble with memory.

Minnesota has helped roughly 7 million people who have been diagnosed with MS. Wild Goalie, Josh Harding has been open about his experiences living with MS and playing in the NHL. Wadtke says Harding has brought a lot of awareness to the disease.

Registration check in goes from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There's no fee to participate but donations are encouraged. You can pre-register on their website.
